Movie star Bruce Dern is making his directorial debut a family affair - his new film will star himself, daughter Laura Dern and ex-wife Diane Ladd. Dern will also produce "Hart's Location," which will start shooting in Louisiana in February.

It's the first time Laura Dern has worked with her mother and father on the same film. She starred alongside Ladd in Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, Wild At Heart and Rambling Rose.
