Supermodel Linda Evangelista's publicist has denied reports her baby's father is Salma Hayek's fiance. Internet reports which surfaced on Wednesday suggested French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault, 45, fathered both Hayek's new daughter and Evangelista's one-year-old.

But aides for Evangelista insist the rumor started as New York newspapers began to speculate about the father of the model's son, Augustin, around his first birthday.

Evangelista's agent Didier Fernandez says, "Not true. She has never said who the father is."
