Russell CroweRussell Crowe has vowed to discourage his children from entering the acting profession - because there are 'more important things' than appearing on the big screen. The Gladiator star insists he isn't keen for his two sons with wife Danielle Spencer - Charlie, four; and Tennyson, one - to follow his footsteps into the acting world.

He says, "I'm there for whatever they want to do, but I certainly know the pitfalls of this business so I won't be encouraging them. There are so many more important things to dedicate your life to rather than being an actor. People will probably do what their dad did but they don't need to prove anything to me."
