Sia is back with her stunning vocals and direct, clever lyrics on her second full-length release, Some People Have REAL Problems. She'll give audiences a glimpse of what the album holds when she hits the road for a tour of the states this fall.
Sia may be best-known from her days with Zero 7 (Simple Things, When It Falls and The Garden), and her solo track "Breathe Me," which was featured in the final episode of Six Feet Under, but one listen to her striking vocals leaves one feeling as if Sia is a beloved old friend.
The new music on Some People Have REAL Problems is at once upbeat, quirky, and achingly gorgeous, featuring incredible song writing and lush arrangements. Sia also enlisted the help of a few talented friends when recording Some People Have REAL Problems, including Beck, who sings on a track called 'Academia.'
The video for standout track 'Buttons,' which is featured as a hidden track on Some People Have REAL Problems, has already garnered Sia a bit of attention after being posted by a famous online blogger. The video has taken off virally, charting as the #1 most linked and #2 most viewed clip on YouTube the week it was leaked onto the Internet.
Some People Have REAL Problems will be available for digital pre-order in December 2007 and will hit stores on January 8, 2008. Fans can get their Sia fix with a digital, iTunes-exclusive EP, to be released November 6, that will include 'Buttons' and the single 'Day Too Soon.'
