Country superstar Garth Brooks is releasing a special edition of his upcoming album The Ultimate Hits to raise money for breast cancer awareness.

A 'pink edition' of Brooks' greatest hits disc will be available through cancer charity Susan G. Komen For The Cure from 6 November, with $10 of the album's $15 retail price going straight to the organization.

Brooks decided to team up with Komen after his wife Trisha Yearwood took part in a fundraising walk organized by the charity.

He says, "I've never been more proud of her (Yearwood). So I immediately started to think, how can I be that cool?"
