LOS ANGELES (AP) - Ricardo Chavira may be having women troubles on ''Desperate Housewives,'' but in real life he's now a happily married man.

Chavira, 36, wed his longtime girlfriend, Marcea Dietzel, in a private ceremony on Sept. 22 in San Antonio, show publicist Chandler Hayes said.

Chavira confirmed the marriage to Entertainment Tonight on Monday on the set of ''Desperate Housewives.'' The interview was to air Tuesday.

The couple have a 4-year-old son, Tomas, who acted as best man and ring bearer, Hayes said. Chavira and Dietzel wore pajamas during the ceremony and opted to attend their son's soccer game instead of having a reception.

Chavira plays Carlos Solis on the ABC show and is currently cavorting with ex-wife Gabrielle, played by Eva Longoria, while still dating Nicollette Sheridan's character, Edie.
