Rocker Courtney Love has accused Los Angeles police of victimizing Britney Spears because of her fame. The former Hole frontwoman believes Spears is being deliberately targetted by the police and media because she is currently an easy target.

Love defended the Toxic hitmaker just days after she lost was ordered to hand over custody of her two sons, Sean Preston, two, and Jayden Jones, one.

She writes on her blog, "I know everything. The DCS in LA is a horror show they are angry ... they hated me for my status wealth etc - and they took it out on the kid. Once your in that system it is [expletive] up, so B (Britney) get out! Before you judge walk a mile in her shoes."
