British band The Pipettes have been forced to call-off 18 North American tour dates after experiencing a delay in getting their U.S. work visas issued.

The girl trio are now unable to play any concert up to and including the gig scheduled to take place at the Bluebird Theater in Denver, Colorado on October 23.

However, The Pipettes expect to have their visas in time to fulfil the last seven concerts of the road trip, the first of which is scheduled to be held at Los Angeles' Echoplex venue on October 25.
