Bitter:SweetSince the release of The The Mating Game in 2006, it's hard to imagine a night on the town without the intoxicating electronica of Bitter:Sweet. Now, with The Remix Game, released August 7, a handful of today's best euphonious mixologists come together to offer their interpretations of the original album. Add to that an upcoming live show in a city near you, and you'll be drinking from Bitter:Sweet's mood enhancing cup well into 2008.

On this seductive trip-hop album, Bitter:Sweet's debut The Mating Game is revamped by today's top sonic impressionists. Many of the songs on this album are rare gems that have been available only on 12" vinyl or for digital download. Alloyed by the golden touch of musical alchemists like Thievery Corporation, AtJazz, Skeewiff, Nicola Conte, and Fort Knox Five; this torrid soundtrack will illuminate the night.

Bitter:SweetBitter:Sweet combines the musical savvy of Kiran Shahani and the sultry vocals of Shana Halligan. Kiran emerged on the scene as a founding member of The Supreme Beings of Leisure. Signed to Chris Blackwell's Palm Pictures, the band sold over a quarter million records worldwide. Shana is, of course, no stranger to the music industry. She has been a respected part of the Los Angeles music scene her whole life and grew-up in a household with father, Dick Halligan (Blood, Sweat & Tears). Together, Kiran and Shana have created Bitter:Sweet, one of the most seductive renditions of retro swank and hot beats since James Bond was Sean Connery.
