Latino pop hunk Ricky Martin is stunned he has been awarded a star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame. The singer will accept the accolade for his contribution to music in California on October 16th.

However Martin admits he has still not "woken up to the news" he is to receive the honor. He tells Peopleenespanol.com, "I think it will be a day full of emotions."
