Actress Farrah Fawcett is in Europe receiving cancer treatments that are illegal in America. The 60-year-old jetted to Germany after suffering a relapse of the disease - just seven months after she was given the all-clear.

Craig Nevius, who produced Fawcett's reality show Chasing Farrah, claims she turned to Europe after American treatments failed to meet her needs.

He tells People.com, "She was discouraged by the treatments she got here (in the United States). The fact that it recurred after all that she went through was heartbreaking."

Nevius declined to reveal the nature of the treatment but did announce Fawcett is recording a video diary to make a documentary about her experience.
