Actor Richard Gere has been honored with a lifetime achievement award at a Spanish film festival. The Pretty Woman star picked up the Donosti award at the 55th annual San Sebastian Film Festival in north-eastern Spain on Sunday.
He says, "I still have some more years left to do movies and this is encouragement for me to work in the future."
Previous recipients of the award include Woody Allen, Robert De Niro, Jessica Lange and Matt Dillon.
