Aerosmith have been forced to cancel the most successful concert in Maui, Hawaii's history because they can't make it in time. The group rescheduled a show in Chicago, Illinois and have now realized they can't get to Maui in time for Wednesday's concert.

A spokesman for the group's management states, "It is not logistically possible for the band's equipment to make it to Hawaii in time for the scheduled Maui show. The band would like to apologize for this inconvenience to their fans."

The Maui concert had broken all previous box office records for shows on the island. Aerosmith's private show scheduled for the University of Hawaii-Manoa on September 29 will go ahead as planned.
