Mary-Kate Olsen has split from boyfriend Max Snow, according to U.S. reports. The couple, who started dating in September 2006, decided to call off their romance due to their busy schedules.

An Olsen insider tells In Touch Weekly magazine, "They broke up mainly because she was in L.A. and Max was in New York, which made the long-distance relationship tough (sic)."

Snow, an aspiring rocker, is actress Uma Thurman's cousin.
