Britney Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline treated the couple's sons to a Cars-themed pool party, while mom was preparing for her ill-fated MTV Video Music Awards performance in Las Vegas on Sunday.

The party was to celebrate the birthdays of Jayden James, who turns one on Wednesday, and big brother Sean Preston, who is two on Friday.

According to People magazine, Spears' parents Jamie and Lynne were among the guests at the party, which was held at Federline's San Fernando Valley home in California.
