Oscar winner Helen Mirren lived in a hippy drug den during her twenties, while working for the prestigious Royal Shakespeare Company. The elegant British actress admits wild cross-dressing parties took place fueled with alcohol and drugs including LSD and marijuana.

Mirren says, "The boys loved dressing in drag, and the girls as nuns and tarts. There were also drugs of course, marijuana mostly. A picture from those days reveals my one and only acid trip, a walk in the country, I am laughing already. It was like a cross between a country retreat for toffs, an artists' convention and a travelers' camp."
