Melanie Brown's new husband stirred up a romantic proposal when he froze an engagement ring inside an ice cube and slipped it into the Spice Girls star's cranberry juice.

Brown accepted film producer Stephen Belafonte's proposal in Los Angeles in June and the couple married in Las Vegas later that month. And three months later, Brown is still cooing about her man's engagement tactics.

She says, "Even though he knows I like club soda, he poured me a cranberry juice, which I thought was really weird. But he had frozen my ring in this ice cube, so, by the time dinner was finished, I drank this cranberry juice, and I said, 'Oh, there's something in my ice!' And it was my ring."
