A cast worn by talk show host Stephen Colbert has sold for $17,200. The Colbert Report host removed the cast that helped heal his broken left wrist live on his show on August 23, and then placed it on auction website eBay.

The auction cash will benefit the Yellow Ribbon Fund charity, which helps raise funds to assist injured members of the American armed forces and their families.
