SugababesBritish girl group Sugababes have slammed reports newest member Amelle Berrabah is leaving the band.

British newspaper The Sun reported that original member Keisha Buchanan and bandmate Heidi Range had started auditioning for a potential new member after tiring of Berrabah's bad timekeeping.

Berrabah, 23, joined the Push The Button trio in November 2005 after the sudden departure of Mutya Buena.

The Sugababes are horrified by the claims, because they're set to release their fifth studio album Change next month - the first disc featuring all of Berrabah's vocals.

Buchanan says, "Things couldn't be better in the band at the moment. Amelle, Heidi and I are a rock solid team."

Berrabah enthuses, "I'm 110 per cent committed to Sugababes. It's a dream come true. I can't wait to perform the new album live."
