Charlize Theron has sparked rumors she is to wed after she was spotted wearing an engagement ring in Los Angeles. The actress was seen sporting the diamond two days after returning from a break in Belize with long-term actor partner Stuart Townsend.

Although Theron has previously insisted "marriage is not my thing", friends tells Britain's Hello! magazine she has had a change of heart.

The couple is currently working on Townsend's directorial debut Battle in Seattle which will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, later this year.
