TV movie soundtrack High School Musical 2 continues to dominate the albums chart in America after scoring a second week at number one with a highly impressive 367,000 further sales. The album became the second highest debut of the year last week, when it stormed to the top.

High School Musical 2 sold over 300,000 copies more than it's nearest rival, Talib Kweli's first top 10 album Ear Drum, which debuts at two on the new Billboard countdown.

Other new entries in the top 10 are producer Swizz Beatz's debut, One Man Band Man, at number seven and rockers As I Lay Dying, who claim eighth place with An Ocean Between Us.
