Mexican pop star Thalia and her music mogul husband Tommy Mottola threw a baby shower in a trendy New York eaterie on Sunday. The Latin beauty, 36, and Mottola, 58, are expecting a baby girl next month.

On Sunday, they invited 40 friends and family to Asian restaurant Philippe to celebrate the impending arrival.

As well as gift swapping and eating, guests were entertained with a karaoke machine.
