My Bloody Valentine To Reform For Coachella 2008?

Cult rockers My Bloody Valentine are considering a reunion at next year's Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in California. After The Jesus And Mary Chain, Crowded House and Rage Against The Machine all kicked off reunions with performances at this year's Coachella, My Bloody Valentine have been offered a deal to co-headline the 2008 event.
The Irish-British group, led by Kevin Shields, have been inactive since 1995, four years after releasing classic album Loveless.
Shields, who last year contributed music to the soundtrack for Marie Antoinette, told Magnet magazine he was considering a My Bloody Valentine reunion: "We are 100 per cent going to make another My Bloody Valentine record unless we die or something."
Meanwhile, one reunion Coachella boss Paul Tollett was hoping for in 2008 has been ruined - a publicist for Morrissey has confirmed the hope of a The Smiths reformation at the festival has been ruled out.
