Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards poked fun at England's smoking ban on Sunday by eating a cigarette on stage.

The rockers were performing at London's O2 arena five days after Richards and bandmate Ron Wood managed to avoid a fine over their onstage smoking.

Smoking in public was banned in England and Wales on July 1.

Richards, 63, made a point of not lighting up on stage on Sunday and instead stuffed a cigarette into his mouth.
