Bob Geldof's daughter Peaches has compared her father's musical abilities to a karaoke singer.

The former Boomtown Rats rocker has failed to impress his 18-year-old daughter with his talents - especially during the 2005 Live 8 concert.

She says, "It was like if you go to a party and your dad is dancing and singing karaoke. His band the Boomtown Rats weren't that good."
