Against Me! singer Tom Gabel was arrested in Florida on Monday night for the alleged battery of a man in a cafe.

Gabel has been accused of slamming customer Jared Smith's head against the counter at the All Saints Cafe in Tallahassee after a heated discussion regarding a defaced article on the band, which had been on the wall of the establishment.

The rocker was charged with simple battery and released on $500 bail.
