Former child star Erin Murphy
is celebrating after learning she's cancer free following a delicate surgery. The retired actress, who played little Tabitha on beloved TV sitcom Bewitiched
, discovered she had ovarian cancer tumors earlier this year and underwent an operation to remove them on July 3.
The surgery was a success and now the 43-year-old mom of six is cancer free. Murphy admits she first noticed something was wrong when she noticed a bloating in her stomach.
She tells the Globe
, "At first I thought I was eating too many cupcakes, but luckily I decided to get checked and it was a good thing I did."
Murphy, a motivational speaker, is now planning a TV comeback as a judge on upcoming reality show "The Next Child Star."
