Martial arts superstar Jet Li is teaming up with Natalie Portman for a Kung-Fu version of classic fairytale Snow White, according to internet reports. Movie site Asian Popcorn claims director Yuen Woo-Ping is overseeing the project, which "is set thousands of years after the original Snow White story, when the princess has reincarnated into a young woman, played by Natalie Portman."

Jet Li is reported to play the leader of seven warriors dispatched by the Shaolin temple in central China to protect Snow White and seven magical mirror fragments from her evil stepmother.
