Joe StrummerThe Clash frontman Joe Strummer will be honored by guitar manufacturer Fender later this month, when The Joe Strummer Telecaster goes on sale. The late rocker, who died in 2002, played a 1966 Telecaster throughout his career, which he customized over the years by adding stickers, stencils and paint.

Artist Shepard Fairey has designed a customization kit, which comes in a 12-inch record sleeve, containing stickers and stencils inspired by those found on Strummer's instrument.
