Construction on Led Zeppelin's new theme park rollercoaster ride has been completed in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The speedy attraction, "Led Zeppelin - The Ride," will open to the public at the new Hard Rock Park in 2008, as part of a number of rock-themed rides.
The six-minute ride will hit 65 miles per hour and speakers conveniently located behind each rider's head will play the rock supergroup's "Whole Lotta Love" throughout the ride.
Existing Led Zepellin stars Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones each participated in the design of the rollercoaster. The 140-acre Hard Rock Park will feature more than 40 attractions when it opens next spring.
