Italian fashion queen Donatella Versace has praised her daughter Allegra during her battle with anorexia. In March the 21-year-old heir of the Versace empire began seeking medical treatment for the eating disorder, which she had suffered from for many years.

Donatella was accompanied by her daughter Allegra at a ballet in her late brother Gianni's honor in Milan, Italy on Sunday. Donatella enthused, "Allegra is involved with her studies and she is getting better. Each person has their own way of reacting to pain, but she is doing well. I'm proud of her."
