Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has promised to smile more now she's moved to Los Angeles, to counter her reputation as a "miserable cow". The 33-year-old, who is starting a new life in Los Angeles with her soccer superstar husband David Beckham and their three children, insists that she really is a happy-go-lucky character, who doesn't deserve her gloomy tabloid image.

She says, "I think people have this impression that I'm this miserable cow who doesn't smile. But I'm actually quite the opposite. With all the (camera) flashes, it's as much as you can do to just find your car. I'm going to try and smile more for America."
