Troubled singer Britney Spears has reportedly pulled out of a concert with Cyndi Lauper - because she refuses to sing live. The Toxic hitmaker was expected to perform at the True Colors tour in Los Angeles on Saturday with Erasure, Deborah Harry, The Dresden Dolls and The MisShapes with Jeffree Star - but allegedly canceled the appearance because she wasn't allowed to mime.

A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "Britney said she'd only lip-sync but to work with Cyndi, you have to perform."

Although Spears was never officially confirmed for the tour line-up, earlier this week her choreographer Misha Gabriel told People.com the star would be performing one song at the Greek Theatre gig.

The singer last appeared live in May, when she lip-synched her way though a series of brief 15 minute concerts.
