Rapper T.I. used his Best Male Hip-Hop Artist award acceptance speech at Tuesday's B.E.T Awards to apologize personally for a bust-up between himself and Ludacris' manager Chaka Zulu. The rap star, real name Clifford Harris, reportedly punched Zulu after fighting with him at a charity luncheon in California on Sunday, but he was all apologies at the awards ceremony.
A humble T.I. apologized from the stage and then told reporters backstage, "It was very unfortunate and very inappropriate." Zulu claims his argument with the rapper, which came as part of a three-year feud between T.I. and Ludacris, ruined his night on Sunday.
He has since told AllHipHop.com, "It's a shame that things like this continue to happen especially with the backdrop of an event that was about benevolence and charitable works."
Both parties insist the matter has been "resolved."
