Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has a secret weapon for his big-screen broomstick flying scenes - specially adapted trousers. The 17-year-old actor, who plays the boy wizard in the movie series, relies on the padded garment to ensure a comfortable ride on his Nimbus 2000.

He says, "I've got a pair of trousers that I think belonged to (muscled male strip troupe) The Chippendales at one point or something because they've got Velcro in and you rip them apart to get the harness on (for flying) then stick them back together."
