Bill PullmanNEW YORK (AP) - Bill Pullman gave an astonishing performance as the conflicted husband in the 2002 Broadway production of Edward Albee's ''The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?''

Now the actor is going off-Broadway in another Albee drama, the New York premiere of ''Peter and Jerry.'' The piece stitches together a curtain raiser called ''Homelife'' to the playwright's classic one-act ''The Zoo Story'' (1958), the tale of a meeting on a bench in Central Park.

The production, which will also star Dallas Roberts and Johanna Day, will play Oct. 19-Dec. 9 at Second Stage Theatre. A mid-November opening will be announced. The director is Pam MacKinnon, who also directed the world premiere of ''Peter and Jerry'' at Hartford Stage in Connecticut in 2004.
