'Little House On The Prairie' Producer Ed Friendly Dies
Veteran TV executive Ed Friendly has died at the age of 85. Friendly died at his home near San Diego, California, on Tuesday after a year-long battle with cancer.
He was best known as co-creator of the 1960s comedy series Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In and producer of family drama Little House on the Prairie. He also worked for major broadcast networks ABC, CBS and NBC but later formed his own production company Ed Friendly Productions.
