Lindsay Lohan's father has blasted the team who organized his daughter's 21st birthday celebrations in Las Vegas, calling the idea irresponsible. Lohan called off plans for a two-day July 2nd bash at Pure shortly after checking into rehab last month, but the actress' worried dad, Michael, insists there should never have been a party planned in the first case.

A born-again Christian following a recent stint in jail, Michael Lohan says, "When a kid wants to straighten out her life, like Lindsay did, why have a party in Las Vegas with a liquor company sponsoring the party. I mean, coming out of rehab, what sort of insanity was that."

Lindsay is under lock and key at the Promises rehab facility in Malibu, California. She checked in after she was charged with driving under the influence following a car crash in Beverly Hills, California.
