Scissor Sisters singer Jake Shears was left humiliated after he foolishly misplaced a set of house keys belonging to super star Elton John. The star was staying with John while in London to accept the Ivor Novello songwriting award for penning "I Don't Feel Like Dancing," when he made the blunder.

A source tells British paper The Daily Mirror, "Jake flew into a panic when he realized they were lost. He even retraced his steps in a desperate attempt to locate them.

"He was really sheepish and apologised profusely, but Sir Elton wasn't exactly impressed. He'll probably have to have all the locks changed."
