Nude photographs of supermodel Kate Moss fetched a total of $366,000 when they went up for sale in a London auction yesterday. A six foot square photograph of a naked Moss, taken by Albert Watson, sold for $108,000- five times the amount auction house Christie's had expected.

A 1996 portrait of the catwalk star entitled Kate Moss (Hand on Neck) went under the hammer at $76,800, while a 1993 photo of Moss shot by Corinne Day for the cover of fashion magazine Vogue sold for $13,200.

But at $168,000, the highest bid for a Moss original was for a set of six prints of the 33-year-old without make-up, taken by Chuck Close. The photos were originally estimated to go for only $40,000.
