Troubled rapper Foxy Brown must hand over a DNA sample to Florida officials to determine whether she spat on the owner of a local beauty store. Brown, 27, was arrested in February after allegedly being involved in an argument with Sam Hayssam, owner of Queens Beauty Shop in Pembroke Pines, after he asked her to leave so he could close the store.
The rap star - real name Inga Marchand - reportedly struggled with the police officer that arrived at the store and resisted arrest.
Hayssam claims Marchand spat on his shirt, so Broward County prosecutors have demanded the hip-hop star submit a DNA sample.
After she was taken into custody, she was charged with battery and resisting arrest without violence and released on $1,500 bond.
In court on Friday, Marchand rejected a plea deal by the judge and will stand trial on September 24.
