Colin FirthWarring British actors Colin Firth and Rupert Everett have suspended hostilities to promote their new St. Trinian's movie. The pair have endured a bitter feud for 23 years after starring together in 1984 movie Another Country. Everett publicly branded his co-star "boring", adding Firth was "a ghastly guitar-playing red-brick socialist who was going to give his first half-million away to charity."

The pair later appeared together in 2002's The Importance of Being Earnest, but continued their mutual loathing. However, posing together at the Cannes Film Festival in France earlier this week, Firth revealed the pair had reconciled on the set of new schoolgirl remake St. Trinian's.

He said, "The thought of coming to Cannes with him was unthinkable. He refused to speak at the press conference in 1984 because I was there.

"We had absolutely no respect for each other. We do now."
