Eric Clapton left rock fans stunned at England's Countryside Rocks festival on Saturday when he joined former Blind Faith bandmate Steve Winwood onstage for a classic jam. Festival-goers' jaws dropped when Clapton wandered onto the stage towards the end of Winwood's headlining set and performed a handful of Blind Faith and Cream hits with the former Traffic star.
Among the highlights included Blind Faith's Presence Of The Lord and Can't Find My Way Home and Cream's Robert Johnson's cover of Crossroads.
The rock legends also performed the Spencer Davis Group classic Gimme Some Lovin'.
The jam marked the first time Winwood and Clapton had performed together onstage in decades, and adds fuel to speculation the pair are planning a semi-Blind Faith reunion.
In a Rolling Stone interview earlier this year, Clapton stated he planned to do something with Winwood at the Crossroads Guitar Festival in July.
