Mick Jagger has refuted claims made by his ex-wife Jerry Hall he is cheap - and has branded her remarks "absurd." The Rolling Stones rocker, who has four children with the former model - Elizabeth, 23, James, 21, Georgia May, 15, and Gabriel, nine - was accused earlier this week of forcing Hall to "pay for everything to do with the house and children."
Speaking to London newspaper the Evening Standard, Hall alleged Jagger was "pretty tight with the day-to-day stuff," but the star insists he has always contributed richly to his family's upkeep.
He says, "I find her remarks absurd. I have always paid all expenses for the children as well as the lion's share of the costs relating to her lifestyle, and been more than happy to do so."
