Susan Sarandon and Eva Amurri are to play mother and daughter on the big screen again in a new romantic comedy. The real-life mother and daughter, who teamed up in The Banger Sisters, will play family again in Middle of Nowhere.

In the film, Sarandon will play an unbalanced mom who spends her eldest daughter's college fund on her youngest daughter's trip to a beauty pageant.

Amurri also played Sarandon's Sister Helen Prejean character as a child in Dead Man Walking and had bit parts in her mother's films Anywhere But Here and TV film Earthly Possessions.
