Paris Hilton is permitted to drive again - despite receiving jail time on Friday for violating her probation by driving with a suspended license. The hotel heiress will begin a 45-day sentence next month but, according to the Department of Motor Vehicles, she's free to get behind the wheel of a car in the meantime.

Hilton's license was suspended in November after a drunk-driving arrest, but the organization claims it was reinstated at the end of March.

Veteran DUI attorney Lawrence Taylor says, "If her license was reinstated, she's perfectly okay to drive despite her probation violation. There's no problem with that."
