Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington, Dave Navarro, Aaron Lewis and Disturbed star David Draiman are to pay homage to late rocker 'Dimebag' Darrell Abbott as part of an all-star tribute concert in Los Angeles.
The heavy rock heavyweights will perform Pantera and Damageplan hits Abbott played on before he was shot dead at a concert in Ohio in 2004 at the House of Blues in Los Angeles on May 17.
Abbott's brother, former Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul, is also expected to appear at the show, along with Scott Ian of Anthrax and Slayer's Kerry King. The rockers will all take the stage under the moniker Black Tooth Grin, which is the name given to a notorious drink Abbott invented.
It's shaping up to be a year of tributes to the guitarist - he will be posthumously honored with an induction into Hollywood's Rockwalk, also on May 17, and the organizers of Britain's Download festival in June have named a stage after him.
