Spanish star Isabel Pantoja has been arrested in Malaga on suspicion of money-laundering and tax evasion. The flamenco singer was detained by police on Wednesday in connection to a construction bribery investigation, which has already put her ex-mayor boyfriend behind bars.

Pantoja, 50, who denies any wrongdoing, appeared before an investigating judge in the resort town of Marbella yesterday. She was later released after posting $122,500 in bail.

Pantoja's detention is the latest in a year-long probe that has led to almost 100 arrests in Marbella.
