Avril Lavigne Is Still 'The Best Damn Thing' On Album Chart

Avril LavigneAvril Lavigne is still queen of the U.S. charts after scoring a second week atop the Billboard 200 album chart. The Canadian pop punk debuted her new album The Best Damn Thing at number one last week, and she has been able to keep a charging Joe of the top of the charts. His sixth album, Ain't Nothing Like Me, crashes into the new chart at number two with 98,000 sales.

Rockers Nine Inch Nails' latest release, Year Zero, slips a spot to number three, as does hits compilation Now 24 at four.

British group the Arctic Monkeys' triumphant Coachella Festival debut at the weekend seems to have helped give them a chart boost - their new album, Favourite Worst Nightmare, enters the new chart at number seven.

Elsewhere, crooner Neil Sedaka makes his return to the chart for the first time since 1980 with hits compilation The Definitive Collection, which debuts at number 22.
