Hospitalized Australian singer Peter Andre has been forced to announce he is still alive after internet rumors claimed he had died of meningitis. Andre, who is married to glamor model Katie 'Jordan' Price, was struck down with viral meningitis last week and was admitted to East Surrey Hospital in Surrey, England.

However, over 30,000 fans posted their condolences on the Mysterious Girl singer's website after hearing he had passed away.

Andre's spokesperson says, "There has been a disgusting rumor circulating that Peter Andre has died. This is simply not true. Peter is feeling slightly better."
